After many years in the construction business and being owner/operator of a Montessori preschool, I

happened upon an encaustic class with the incredible Megan MacDonald. I have no other formal

training in the arts. I have experienced oil and acrylic painting, stained glass work, and pottery, but have

found encaustics to be my medium. I look forward to continuing my journey into this medium, someday

finding my own style.
