If you drive up and away from the main part of Harrison Lake you will find magical spots. We stopped at Sasquatch Lake and these kayaks were sitting on the bank and no one was insight - probably walking one of the nice trails. But, I can make up a story . . .

This piece just emerged on its own as I held a brush with paint. When it was done it needed a name.
Geo looked at it and said it’s “Solla Sollew”. I had no idea what that meant . . . Found this . . . “Solla Sollew is believed to be a place of hope and wonder. Where, breezes are warm and people are kind.
It is a dream of the characters to find this incredible place, Where, they will find each other and be happy once and for all.

A SLICE OF VALHALLA
One of our favourite places for a quick getaway junket is on Pender Island (the south end). It feels like heaven - Valhalla if you are a Viking :) We like to go in October when the sky and ocean can be a bit moody.

WHEN THE COAST IS CLEAR - PORT RENFREW BC
During our cross Vancouver Island road trip it rained and the most of the scenery was hazed by the low lying clouds. On our 3rd night we stayed in Port Renfrew at the Wild Coast Wilderness Resort and woke to a beautiful sunny day which we spent the next day hiking the start of the Juan de Fuca Trail. The scenery and wildlife was magnificent! What things you can see when the coast is clear.

CLASSIC MARGARITA SUN
Geo and I spent some time in La Paz MX. absolutely beautiful beaches everywhere. One stop along the tour of classic margaritas was El Sargento - fantastic winds for kite and board surfing. We tucked ourselves into a small outdoor cafe surrounded by sand cliffs and watched the surfers. Apparently, half the population living here are folks from BC!
