Geo and I had been exploring Galiano Island's many little beach access spots and had decided to check out one more before heading to dinner on a perfectly warm September day. We walked down to Morning Beach and there was an abundance of seals and birds in the water near the shore when suddenly all the seals disappeared. And just off shore a few hundred feet, there was a glint of something catching the sunlight. Within seconds we were lucky enough to catch this lovely transient Orca come above the surface one more time before disappearing.
