This piece is second in a series inspired by the beautiful province of BC where I live and have the great good fortune to travel around. I live at the mouth of the Fraser River in Ladner - across the river from Steveston (both fishing villages) where it meets with the Pacific Ocean. For eons wild salmon has passed through here on their life journey before returning to this same place to come home to spawn and die.
